Mountains are pretty stunning, that cannot be denied. The pictures here, are of different mountains both linked to major Cities. Salt Lake City , in Utah, famous for its Lake, and The Mormons who founded it, and the amazing Tabernacle Choir, is surrounded by , these lovely mountains. Park City, has a short autumn, and heavy winter snow fall, making it a major, and pretty expensive ski resort. In the summer, the hotels are filled with families and hikers. The resort is also the host of the Sundance Film Festival.
Geneva, a city of banks and watches, and Lake Geneva, with its enormous fountain, from here just an hour’s drive into the French Alps, you find the rather luxurious town of Megeve. This town, with its lovely village, deep snow, and I was lucky enough to have experienced the bluest sky. Ski in and out hotels, like the Four Seasons, and more Michelin star restaurants, than you can count. Both resorts have enough to occupy everyone, non skiers, can skidoo, snow shooing, spa, cookery lessons, spa days, or just get on a gondola and enjoy the views and an amazing lunch.
